Children tend to have unhealthy eating habits. For many teenagers, skipping breakfast is a common habit. But breakfast is the most important meal, because breakfast can boost a child's metabolism and keep him energetic.

Eating high-fat and high-calorie snacks is another common habit. This habit is extremely unhealthy, because high-fat and high-calorie foods often lead to childhood obesity, and your child still lacks of other nutrients.

Children tend to like sugary drinks. However, sugary drinks are unhealthy and should be avoided. To prevent this unhealthy habit, parents should encourage their children to drink water or fruit juices.
