Almonds and Salmon

Almonds contain fiber, riboflavin, magnesium, iron and calcium. Compared to other nuts, almonds have much more calcium. Eating some almonds (about 20 per day), can actually supplement some Vitamin E. Almonds can also provide plant protein. Since almond fat is monounsaturated fat, it may help lower blood cholesterol levels.

Salmon contains rich omega-3 fatty acids. Omega-3 can prevent blood clots and reduce heart attack risk. Omega-3 can often prevent irregular heartbeats, decrease triglyceride levels, and decrease artery-clogging plaques. Salmon also contains rich protein, but the saturated fat and cholesterol level is low.
